The other week, I came across a recipe book called Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfield. It’s a recipe book filled with fantastic ideas of how to sneak in fruits and veggies to little picky eaters. I decided to try out the Applesauce Muffins with Butternut Squash. So easy to make and so good! I baked them in colourful cupcake cups and when I pulled them out of the oven, Luna screamed ‘cupcakes’ with delight and wanted to grab one right away. She devoured a piece to herself and so did Peter. They are so good.

We’ve had the nicest weather here and it’s already October. It feels like spring. We’ve been enjoying our new front yard and making the most of our outdoor living before the rain comes. I really don’t mind the cold weather but totally not looking forward to all the rain fall & winter brings here to the West Coast.

I was busy shooting a new product in our shop called Trees, Bees & Teepees Prints. My most favourite part is styling them for the shoot. I have a small corner in our tv room that gets the best light and that’s where I do all my photos. I love rooms with lots of light!
